The dream of every dog owner is to be able to take their dog with them whenever they need to go out and travel and not to leave them alone at home or at a gloomy pet hotel.

Thankfully, there is a solution to this problem – the dog carriers allow you to take your beloved pup along without any hassle.

There are many models on the market for owners to pick from. The front dog carriers are not new in terms of design, but they are not very widely popular.

Indeed, most god owners today prefer the more conventional backpacks and handbags. Still, it is worth discussing the benefits and drawbacks of this particular carrier model.

The main advantage of the front dog carriers is that they allow you to see your pet all the time.

In this way you can be certain that they are doing well and are not anxious or tired or feeling uncomfortable in the inner compartment.

The front carriers have secure straps that go around the shoulders and the waist. This gives you superb convenience – you can carry your dog and have your hands free to take the groceries bags or your travel baggage.

Most importantly, the strain on your back and shoulders is reduced substantially, which gives you extra comfort especially when you have to walk great distances.

When you sit down you do not have to worry where to place the carrier as it will conveniently fit in your lap.

The front dog carriers are suitable to small dogs that are not too heavy only.

Another disadvantage that some consider particularly important is that these models tend to be inconvenient for the owner when they have to perform certain simple action such as paying at the till when shopping.

Some owners have experienced discomfort when wearing such a carrier as the straps often make the bulkier clothes such as jackets and loose sweaters to crease and roll upwards.

Also, you are highly recommended to go for a model with a compartment that is in a closed pouch form.

Your dog will not feel particularly comfortable if their legs stick out and their back is in a vertical position.

The legs out models can be very cute, but the dog is not a baby and such a position is not their normal one.

The front dog carriers in a pouch form with hard bottoms allow for the dog to sit comfortable inside. The pup is perfectly secure by a collar or a specific inner leash or another kind of safety tether.
