Dachshunds are good watchdogs despite their size and the Pekingese can be an aggressive dog also even though it is quite small. Dachshunds can get along with children while the Pekingese is not recommended for families with children.

The Shih Tzu is a very friendly breed that doesn't require daily grooming, so it's great for families with children or other pets. The Pomeranian is so fluffy, adorable, and gentle that is tends to be a very popular breed. The Papillion is a great small breed dog because it is actually considered to be one of the most intelligent breeds of dogs.
